Trade Stand Information
The Show is held under cover in a purpose built exhibition hall, Bingley Hall, on the County Showground at Stafford. The Christmas Country Fair is held in an adjacent exhibition hall, the Prestwood Centre, which is connected to Bingley Hall by an enclose walkway.
Vehicular access to the ground floor of Bingley Hall is via roller shutter doors; there is limited access to the balcony for light vehicles via an external ramp.
Access to the Bingley Hall for stand building will be available from Tuesday 12th November 2024. No access will be permitted prior to this date. All stands must be in place by 8.30am on Saturday 16th November 2024. The Hall will remain open between 8.00am and 5.00pm from Tuesday 12th November 2024 until Thursday 14th November 2024 and will open again on Friday 15th November 2024 from 7.00am although, due to the arrival of stock, vehicular access will be severely restricted on this day. All stands must be cleared by 5.00pm on Monday 18th November 2024.
There is free overnight parking on the Showground for caravans, moreover, parking of vehicles is also free. However, it should be noted that parking vehicles on trade stand sites is not permitted.
Electricity can be provided to all stands for which an extra charge is payable (see application form for details). Hospitality catering on stands is permitted provided such food and drink is free of charge.
There will be no partitioning of any kind provided between stands; the charge levied applies to ground floor area rental only.
The Show will be open between 9.00am and 5.00pm on both days. Time of access to the Hall for clearing stands on Sunday evening will be at the discretion of the Show organisers, taking into account the safety of visitors and livestock.
The Show organisers will make every effort to secure the building and security personnel will be on duty throughout the period from 6pm Friday 15th November 2024 until 8.00am on Monday 18th November 2024. The Christmas Country Fair and Carcass Hall will be secured and locked and no access will be permitted once visitors and stand holders have cleared the building at the end of each show day. The Main Hall will be patrolled but due to the necessity of access to stock, entry to stockmen cannot be refused. Stand holders are reminded that the show organisers take no responsibility for the security of individual stands.
Full catering and bar facilities will be available on site from the morning of Friday 15th November 2024 until the evening of Sunday 17th November 2024.
