STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY SHOW

The Staffordshire County Show is regarded as one of the leading summer agricultural shows in the country, and certainly, the leading agricultural event of the Midlands. This has been achieved by providing entertainment, interest and expertise for families, the farming community and those who have an interest in rural skills. Livestock is probably, the most important and popular element of any show. Besides the cattle, pigs, sheep, horses and dogs, the Poultry create a great deal of attention. Poultry are often the first introduction children have with livestock which are not essentially pets. The Poultry tent is always buzzing with families, sometimes marvelling at the variety of fowl and the friendly and intimate atmosphere which is reflected throughout the whole of the County Show.
