The National Pedigree Calf Show will be held as part of this years English Winter Fair
on
16^th November 2024

There will be five sections: British Limousin, British Charolais, British Blue, British Simmental as well as a Native/Continental Breeds. The individual section classes and championships as well as the Inter Breed Championships will be held on Saturday 16^th November 2024. Tithebarn are sponsoring a prize of £1000 for the Overall Champion and the Society a prize of £500 for the Overall Reserve Champion.

The National Pedigree Calf Show will include classes for bull and heifer calves in each of the five sections listed above; from these classes a Champion and Reserve will be selected for each section which will then go forward to compete in the Inter-Breed Championships   

The age ranges for the Calf Classes listed above are as follows:
Bull Calf born on or after 1^st October 2023 to 31^st December 2023
Bull Calf Born on or after 1^st January 2024 to 30^th June 2024
Heifer Calf born on or after 1^st October 2023 to 31^st December 2023
Heifer Calf born on or after 1^st January 2024 - 30^th June 2024
(Note if there are less than 4 entries in a class or less than 3 exhibitors the class will be amalagmated e.g. senior and junior bull calves unless the classes are sponsored by a breed societyin which case all the classes will remain.
