Membership of the Society includes the following benefits:
- Admission to the County Show & English Winter Fair on both days of each Show
- Use of the Members Dining Room, bar area & cloakroom facilities at the County Show
- Reduced entry fees for the Livestock Competitions at both the County Show & English Winter Fair
- Membership of one of the eight Districts that together form the Society (See Note Below)
- Free entry into the District & County Agricultural Competitions

- Reserved forward parking at the County Show
Please note that applications for NEW and RENEWAL of memberships are not available in the 15 days prior to the County Show and English Winter Fair
Members are courteously reminded that access to the member’s area requires appropriate dress (smart attire – no shorts or t-shirts)

Membership prices – 1
A special reduced rate membership of £15 is offered to Members of the Staffordshire Young Farmers Club (SFCYFC) aged 18-28 years of age.
Payment by Direct Debit attracts a reduction of £2 on all membership categories with the exception of the Staffordshire YFC membership.
Membership of the Society as a Governor entitles you to the following additional benefits at the County Show:
- Use of the Governor’s Lounge and Dining Room on the first floor of the Grandstand overlooking the Main Ring
Note – The Society is made up of eight Districts – Burton, Eccleshall, Lichfield, Newcastle, South Staffordshire, Stafford, Stone and Uttoxeter. New Members are usually placed in the District that encompasses the area in which they live, however, a member can request to be placed in any of the eight Districts, online applicants can select their chosen district at time of application.

Cancelling Your Membership
If you wish to cancel your membership of the Staffordshire & Birmingham Agricultural Society, you can do so easily using our online Membership Cancellation Form. Completing the form helps us process your request quickly and ensures your membership record is updated correctly.
If your cancellation is submitted within the 14-day cooling-off period, your membership fee will be refunded in full. For cancellations made outside this period, your membership will remain active until the end of the current membership year unless you request otherwise.
