The National Pedigree Calf Show will be held as part of the English Winter Fair on Saturday 15th November 2025
There will be seven sections: British Limousin, British Charolais, British Blue, British Simmental, Hereford, South Devon as well as classes for Any Other Native/Continental Breeds. The individual section classes and championships as well as the Inter Breed Championship will be held on Saturday 15th November 2025. Tithebarn are sponsoring a prize of £1000 for the Overall Champion and the Society a prize of £500 for the Overall Reserve Champion.
The National Pedigree Calf Show will include classes for bull and heifer calves in each of the sections listed above; from these classes a Champion and Reserve will be selected for each section which will then go forward to compete in the Inter-Breed Championships
The age ranges for the Calf Classes listed above are as follows:
Bull Calf born on or after 1st October 2024 to 31st December 2024
Bull Calf Born on or after 1st January 2025 to 30th June 2025
Heifer Calf born on or after 1st October 2024 to 31st December 2024
Heifer Calf born on or after 1st January 2025 – 30th June 2025
(Note if there are less than 4 entries in a class or less than 3 exhibitors the class will be amalgamated e.g. senior and junior bull calves unless the classes are sponsored by a breed society, in which case all the classes will remain.
